All reference to ‘we’ and ‘our’
refers to KBS Sound, and likewise reference to ‘you’ and ‘your’
refers to any purchasing or potential customer of KBS Sound.
KBS Sound exists primarily to serve
churches throughout the UK. This does not mean that we are
unwilling or unable to supply other groups or individuals, but
simply that the products and services that we offer reflect this
commitment.
We will endeavour to be as honest
and unprejudiced as possible in regard to the information and
advice we give; that information and advice being based on over
30 years of experience in the pro-audio / sound reinforcement
industry.
KBS Sound do not offer
account facilities, therefore all orders are on a payment with
order basis. Until payment is received the order is not
confirmed. If payment for an order is made verbally by credit
card, we will endeavour to inform you of any item/s that are not
in stock, and subsequent expected delivery time/s. If you decide to place
the item on back order, we will undertake to deliver your order
at the earliest opportunity. In the rare event that the delay
exceeds 28 days, we will attempt to contact you and inform you
of the progress of your order. Please note that until the 28
days have passed, we regret that we are not able to offer a
refund on a back ordered item.
The same procedure applies to all
non-verbal orders including orders placed by cheque, with the
exception that, in the event of an item/s being out of stock at
the point of order, we will only contact you after the 28 day
period has expired.
If payment is made by cheque, goods
may not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.
With all orders, we will be happy
to advise you of the intended delivery day. Please ensure that this is requested at
the point of order and a daytime contact phone number is
provided.
Please note that whilst every
attempt is made to ensure that orders are delivered on the
required day, we cannot guarantee this as we use a third party carrier who, although
contracted to KBS Sound, are not in the employee of KBS Sound.
If for any reason you are unhappy with the condition, manner or
time of your delivery, please inform us immediately. It is the
customers responsibility to check that goods are received in
working condition. All damages & shortages or faulty goods must
be reported to KBS Sound within 3 working days of reciept.
All items that are supplied by KBS
Sound carry at least a one-year limited manufacturers warranty.
For products that have extended warranties, please see
warranty/registration information supplied with individual
items.
In the event that an item develops
a fault, KBS Sound will arrange to have the item collected and
returned to the manufacturers for repair at our expense,
provided that the item is still within the manufacturers
warranty period and the fault is not as a result of misuse.
In an attempt to speed up repair or
replacement, an item that is returned to KBS Sound must have a
returns authorisation number, which is available from our
sales/help line. Please note that without a valid returns
authorisation number, for security reasons, goods will not be
accepted back.
Packing the item securely is the
responsibility of the sender. It is strongly suggested that the
original packaging is retained for such situations. Returns
authorisation numbers remain active for 21 days from date of
issue. Please note that in the event of a warranty claim WE ARE
ON YOUR SIDE! We will do everything possible as quickly as
possible – and you don’t have to join a queue when you telephone
us!
All items returned to
KBS Sound, for whatever reason, must be packaged in an outer
packaging so that the contents are not advertised.
Unwanted goods may be returned for
a refund on the condition that we are informed immediately, they
are returned within 7 days of your receiving them, they are in
as-new condition and in the original packaging with no shipping
labels attached to the manufacturers original packaging. It is
the customers responsibility to return unwanted items and a restocking
charge will be made in such situations. Carriage charges cannot
be refunded.
It is the responsibility of the
customer to ensure that the product being purchased is suitable
for the purpose intended. KBS Sound will do everything possible
to provide you with all the information available (size,
weights, features, diagrams, pictures, etc) prior to purchase to
ensure that you get the product that is best suited to your
requirements. In addition to this we welcome customers to our
showroom and demonstration facility in Sandwich, Kent, in order
to fully satisfy themselves as to their intended purchase.
In one year alone, 65%
of the warranty items returned to KBS Sound, which had been
reported as faulty, proved to have no fault but were simply a
'user problem'. Because of this, any item that is returned for
repair that is found to have no fault will incur a carriage
charge. Manuals are supplied with all equipment and free advice
is available via our sales/help line if 'set-up problems' occur.
